When I was studying fashion in Italy, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. I used to imagine future moments, red carpets, interviews, and that famous question: “Who are you wearing tonight?”
But I didn’t like the usual answers. I wanted something different. Something that felt like me.
My name is Rowella, but my friends and family call me Wella. Sometimes Wels. That’s where it started. I combined “Wels” and “Styled” to create something unique: Wels Styled. The capital “S” in the middle is intentional, it separates and connects at the same time. Like creativity and identity meeting in one place.
Life didn’t go exactly as planned. I didn’t finish my fashion studies. At that time, I realized something very real: entering the fashion world is not easy. It is very competitive, and continuing to higher studies like a master’s can be very expensive. Slowly, I had to rethink my path.
But the dream didn’t disappear. It just changed shape.
Over time, I realized I didn’t only want to be a designer, I wanted to be a businesswoman and a creator. Someone who builds ideas with meaning.
That’s how I found my way into candles.
Because for me, everything has a story. And I believe in creating things that carry that story, simple things, honest things, things that mean something when you hold them.
Today, WelStyled Candles is not just a name. It’s a way of creating. Every candle is part of a story, made with feeling, memory, and life. A quiet reminder that even small things can hold something big.
But this is not where it stops.WelStyled Candles will not remain only candles. There is more to come.
